The deployment of electric vehicle charging stations degrades the quality power in distribution grid. This article proposes an interval type-2 fuzzy logic controlled shunt converter coupled novel high-quality scheme for vehicles. system includes three-phase bidirectional front-end ac-dc pulsewidth modulation (PWM) converter, backend dc-dc PWM and three-wire static compensator. converters help to perform both grid mode operations. combination dc-link voltage with decoupled current control technique is exploited converter. A multistep constant proposed charge discharge battery. controller based instantaneous reactive theory method performance type-1, type-2, real coded genetic algorithm optimized controllers are evaluated by total harmonic distortion source current. Lithium-ion batteries utilized as energy storage device vehicles system. entire modeled MATLAB/Simulink environment. An affords better during V2G G2V operations, respectively.
